Yihao Liu is a doctoral candidate in bioinformatics. His research focuses on developing statistical methods and tools to explore the bone marrow microenvironment. During his master’s study at ETH Zürich, he concentrated on analyzing the tumor microenvironment using single-cell sequencing and developed methods for human brain organoids imaging data analysis combining machine learning and graph theory. In the meanwhile, he worked as a Research Assistant in the Klause Eyer’s lab at ETH Zürich improving the droplet tracking project by optimizing visualization and algorithms.
