Sareh Ameri Far is a Ph.D. candidate in bioinformatics at the Goethe University Hospital, Frankfurt. She holds a BSc. in computer science and an MSc. in bioinformatics. During her master’s program, she developed an R package (ftrCOOL) that extracts various features from biological sequences. This package is published in the CRAN repository. Also, she has published a paper based on this study in the “Briefings in Bioinformatics” journal. Her research interests are multi-omics data analysis, machine learning, and oncology.
